Mercedes Anaya Zarzosa is a passionate animator specializing in Toon Boom 2D hand-drawn and rigged animation, with professional experience in clean-up, compositing, and production workflows. She has contributed as a 2D rough animator on remote productions with KittenSneeze Productions and is currently completing an internship at Dusk Fawx Animation, where her work has been extended to linear compositing in After Effects.In addition to professional experience, Mercedes has developed her skills through academic projects, including her third-year thesis film at Sheridan College, where she handled both animation and clean-up, gaining hands-on experience in pipeline workflow, team communication, and deadline management.Drawing inspiration from both classic and modern animation—from studios such as Disney, Sony, and those that personally shaped her creative journey—she creates fluid, expressive, and story-driven performances that bring characters to life. Proficient in Toon Boom Harmony, After Effects, and foundational 3D animation, she combines technical precision with creative energy.Mercedes is actively seeking opportunities in the animation industry—remote, contract, or on-site with relocation—and hopes to contribute her skills to studios that value strong storytelling, collaboration, and high-quality animation.
