Mercedes Anaya Zarzosa is a passionate 2D animator and clean-up artist who is skilled in Toon Boom Harmony hand-drawn and rigged animation workflows, with professional experience in rough animation, clean-up, compositing, and production pipeline organization.Previously, Mercedes had professional experience working remotely as a 2D Rough Animator for KittenSneeze Productions, and also had an internship with Dusk Fawx Animation, where her role was extended to compositing in After Effects. Most recently, Mercedes worked as a 2D Clean-Up Artist for Plasma Spin Studios on the animated pilot Pastafazool, where she refined rough animation into polished production-ready shots while also helping streamline clean-up workflows and supporting the team with Node View organization and compositing.Additionally, Mercedes developed her skills through collaborative productions and academic projects at Sheridan College, where she earned her Bachelor of Animation (2025). Through these experiences, she gained hands-on knowledge of the full 2D animation pipeline, including production workflows, team collaboration, revision pipelines, and deadline-driven studio environments.She is very skilled at using Toon Boom Harmony, including Node View workflows, with additional experience in After Effects, Adobe Creative Suite, compositing, motion graphics, and foundational 3D animation. Combining technical akills with creative passion, Mercedes strives to create polished, production-ready animation.Mercedes is currently open to full-time, freelance, remote, contract, and relocation opportunities within the animation industry and is excited to continue contributing to projects that value collaborative and high-quality animation production.
